Kamala Harris makes small business pitch with boost to start-up tax relief

51% : Meanwhile, Trump -- whose 2017 Tax Cuts and Job Act that cut the corporate tax rate from 35 per cent to 21 per cent was among his administration's flagship legislative achievements -- has floated the idea of slashing the corporate tax rate even further, to as low as 15 per cent, if he were given another four years in office.
45% : A poll conducted last month for the Financial Times and the University of Michigan Ross School of Business showed Harris with a razor-thin lead over Trump when it comes to the economy, with 42 per cent of voters saying they trusted her more to handle the economy, compared to 41 per cent who put their faith in the former president.
