Renewable energy sources like solar, wind, and hydro are unevenly distributed globally. Some regions have abundant sunshine, while others have high wind speeds or significant hydropower potential. A global network would enable countries to share excess energy and optimize the use of these resources. In addition, a global energy-sharing network could help provide clean energy to developing countries or regions that lack access to affordable and reliable energy. This would promote energy equity and contribute to global development goals. By diversifying energy sources through international cooperation, countries can reduce reliance on fossil fuels and enhance energy security. Sharing energy across borders can also mitigate risks associated with localized energy disruptions. Read Less
