I give the EU as an example since the EU commission has taken in several million migrants and there has only been an uptick in crime. That is not to say that migrants are all criminals but it does suggest that a Western concept of a global refugee policy may not be the ideal model. Furthermore, there is a legitimate position amongst many in the West that there should be more careful migrant policy since they may not share the cultural/moral values of the West. I think there is a fine line with providing humanitarian assistance and listening to your people when they complain about refugees. In conclusion, there should be no global refugee policy but if it was to be implemented anyway, the West is not the model the world should follow.Read Less
