Since governments are able put certain policies into action that reduce individual environmental impact, corporations should be no different. Since they do contribute far more than civilians and many profit from this environmental degradation, they should have to be transparent.  Less

Transparency on environmental impact will help consumers decide which businesses to support, which means businesses will have to factor in environmental impacts, even if indirectly, into their business model. This should then help the environment since corporations are the biggest polluters.  Less
