The environmental protections can help to work on limiting spills, making sure codes are up to standard, and ways to improve rules for the environment.     Environmental protections should be intertwined with most trade deals, but the severity of the protections, in my opinion, should not be such that the economic and logistic costs of adhering to them …Read MoreEnvironmental protections should be intertwined with most trade deals, but the severity of the protections, in my opinion, should not be such that the economic and logistic costs of adhering to them make trading less incentivized. There are definitely a lot of ways to implement protections within these boundaries however, such as with ship regulations, health codes, and making efficient travel and more, and I believe implementing these would be widely beneficial. Read Less
