Otherwise, wild and gross content can pervert the minds of young people to accepting hedonism as lifestyle. Furthermore, large companies such as Youtube ought to automatically elevate videos discussing subjects such as grace, humility, virtue, and honor to the top of the algorithm regardless of their viewer count. The reason being is not push any one political notion but to ensure that young people recognize there is more to this world then the latest trend and “chasing the bag”. There is incredible value that in being a moral individual that adheres to social traditions and cares for his/her family. A person that instills strong ethics on subjects like how to treat women/men respectfully, service to one’s community, respect for individuals, assistance to the disadvantaged, and advocacy for improving the human condition are all critical pillars of a moral mind. So yes, big social media companies should ensure that users adhere to an ethical code of conduct so as to provide people with a baseline for how to live. Read Less
