Should political advertising be restricted by news websites that are trying to improve healthy discourse?

    I think restricting political advertising might be the opposite action to take when pushing for more healthy discourse, since the whole premise of that belief is in tolerating opposing viewpoints.

I don’t think any advertisements should be a part of news channel because the parasocial relationship built between certain anchormen and the public and be very intense without all the bells and whistles of modern advertising as. However if by restricting you mean on other channels that are not news related then my vote is no because people don’t seek other channels to be as informative resources when it comes to politics. Read Less
