The damage of climate change is becoming increasingly obvious and, as such, it’s become necessary for action to be taken to at the very least slow down the damage and maybe find ways to improve the situation. On top of that, the issue of endangered plant life is nowhere near as talked about or explored as the issue of endangered animal life, and I believe that creating a safe and protected environment would help to preserve endangered plants and help revive the population. It would be beneficial to help protect the environment while also supplying a place of green for locals to appreciate the beauty of nature, so I feel like public parks and green spaces should absolutely be protected under international law. Read Less

This would never fly in international law. From an international perspective, you can’t tell countries what to do with their land. It violates sovereignty.

It may be difficult to get such a law passed, but it would be beneficial to the world if certain areas and environments could be protected even in the midst of international disputes.
