Even though, by definition it isn’t *one* company, two, three, or even four still discourage competition and ultimately hurt consumers pockets/small businesses. Read Less
Yes monopolies defeat the purpose of having an alleged free market and and have led to the end of many quality small businesses.
Definitely, yes. The authority should be used as a tool to protect market competition and consumer interest rather than just ignoring the firms that have a dominant position in the market.
