As a result, there could be a scenario in which no agreement is ever met, but it also could turn out that collection standards are lower because countries might want to collect data, but are fearful of how their populace would react. In many ways, it’s very possible and even probable that an action such as this can help inform policy making decisions and see things from unique perspectives and points of view. However, something like this can be easily manipulated and corrupted to do things like espionage, theft and extortion, something the modern world has sadly become more aware of in today’s society. I think data collection is a prevalent issue internationally, but it presents itself and therefore must be dealt with in different ways depending on the country.

It is difficult to say yes or no when it comes to data collection in an international scale because different nations have very different outlooks on it.
