Instead, there should be globally agreed …Read MoreI believe this approach would be ideal in regions where humane treatment of animals is needed; however, it should not override the values of other countries. Instead, there should be globally agreed-upon guidelines that respect diverse practices. In Islamic countries, Zabiha (ritually slaughtered) meat is considered more ethical compared to American slaughterhouses, where stunning is normalized and poses a higher risk of contamination. I believe countries should first focus on improving their own treatment of animals before advocating for a global stance. Read Less
