Should wildlife habitats be protected even if it hampers economic development?

    This is a difficult one for me. I want to say yes because wildlife is important and their land should not be compromised for human gain. I think if the economic development is life saving, I could see… moreThis is a difficult one for me. However, if its just to build another bank, another store, another mall, etc. then I think they must be proteted  Less

    I think that protecting wildlife habitats is one step towards prioritizing saving the environment, which would be positive for everyone. Of course, one would have to consider how much it could… moreI think that protecting wildlife habitats is one step towards prioritizing saving the environment, which would be positive for everyone. Of course, one would have to consider how much it could economically disadvantage a group. In some ways, saving a wildlife habitat could promote tourism and non-profit efforts in certain areas which could be positive.  Less

    I think definitely they should be protected. Wildlife Habitats are a finite resource and are being destroyed rapidly. There are many other routes and resources to economic development that don’t… moreI think definitely they should be protected. Wildlife Habitats are a finite resource and are being destroyed rapidly. There are many other routes and resources to economic development that don’t involve harming wildlife. While this might hamper economic development or make it a bit harder to achieve, we have to consider the greater risks of losing wildlife habitats.  Less
