Our Bias Meter and rating methodologies are based on artificial intelligence with various facets providing ratings on media sources, politicians, journalists, real-time articles, and more that are uniquely available to Biasly’s subscribers.

Managing Profiles

Create/edit bio and politician policy stances as well as add files and images.

You can create a description for a politician, such as writing a short biography on their life, add contact information, include photos, and spell out where they stand on policies. They can even add custom stances on policy issues, enable or disable Biasly’s A.I. and Analyst ratings, and change the overall rating.

Email Followers

Use our platform as a tool to message supporters.

You can use Biasly’s platform to send emails to the politician’s subscribers on the site. If they want to send a message at a certain time (e.g., a reminder for an important campaign event), they can select the day and time to do so. They also have access to see what messages they previously sent.

Learn how positively or negatively the media portrays a politician by news source and articles.

You have access to how news agencies commonly portray a politician, whether it be positively or negatively. They can pull up 100 entries per page, search for specific news outlets, or sort by sources that only portray a politician favorably or unfavorably.

Policy Leaning

Learn how the media is portraying political policies not only for yourself but for other politicians too.

See how a politician stands on various public policies. Clicking on the “View” button in the policy row leads you to a page that cites evidence of the media portraying the politician’s stance on the policy through different articles. The Overall Policy Leanings Score is based on how news outlets portray a politician’s stance on political issues.

The Politician Map shows where politicians stand compared to others on the policy leanings and overall media portrayal scales. If you don’t see a politician on the chart, you can search for it.

Obtain detailed understanding of the demographical and ideological information about politicians of interest.

The Politician Rating List page brings up a list of hundreds of politicians with information on their political party, ideology, Twitter/X account, and other contact information.

Users can add blog posts for anyone on the internet to view on their Biasly profile page. They can write posts on the platform, which includes features such as adding a short description, images, and SEO tags.

News Mentions

See where the politician or candidate is being referenced in the news based on set timeframes.

The News Mentions page lists the articles that reference the politician. It gives Biasly’s rating on the individual article and how they portray the politician, positively or negatively. Users can sort by a specific news outlet.
