This article misrepresents the statements and reports written by the Boston Children's Hospital co-director of the Center for Gender Surgery. The statements made only discussed the possibility of opening specialized clinics for gender surgery or gender-affirming care as there is a possibility people from states that make this care illegal will travel for it. They attempt to portray him in a way that suggests he is urging adolescents to seek out this care, which is incorrect. The end of the article uses evidence that was incorrect and misrepresented the hospital's services which has previously been used to incite violence against members of the hospital and those who receive care from the hospital.
