This article is troubling for me as I feel it does not give Kamala Harris a fair portrayal at all following Biden dropping out of the 2024 presidential election. Not to mention, by likening decisions among the Democratic party to gymnastic routines, it is downplaying the importance of what is really at hand. The article makes many baseless claims to downplay her accomplishments as a member of the Democratic party and as vice president. Author Matthew Continetti snuggly writes, "She has no political base, no signature issue, is not part of a movement, and is best know for her word salads and very online fans." This, among many other quotes are troubling because the author is trying to belittle her as a presidential candidate and say falsities such as she has no political base, just because he may not agree with her views.
