This is very problematic as it only deepens polarization. Just because someone doesn’t share the same opinions doesn’t mean that person have their nationality invalidated. The phrase “such horrors” also seems odd. Now attempting to kill a president, sitting or former, is terrible for obvious reasons. At the same time, President Trump is hardly the first American head of state to have an attempt on his life. There have been six other presidential assassination attempts before this, four of which were actually successful. Read Less
